upper control arm bumper question

Can anyone tell me if the 61 Galaxie used upper control arm bumpers? When I took my front end apart I didn't see them. I can't really see where they would be mounted onto the upper control arm unless the inside bolt for the upper bolt joint is removed and the vacant hole them becomes the location for mounting upper control arm bumper. It may be possible that the rubber bumpers were completely worn off which is why I didn't see them or removed prior, so I'm not sure as to what should be there.

Re: upper control arm bumper question

My '59 definitely has them and it does take the ball joint mounting hole. Good ball joints have that odd ball extra-long bolt for that purpose... brand-x ball joints do not. Took a quick search on C & G Ford Parts... the bumpers are P/N C0AZ-3020 at $7.95 each.
