I discovered today that the ignition key will not fit the door locks. Therefore I visited all three of the parts catalogs.
NO LUCK Who sells door locks with keys for a 59 Galaxie?

Take your door cylinder out and take that and your ignition key to a lock smith and he'll fix the lock for you. On my '59, everything works with 1 key. Door lock cylinders & keys are available from most places like C & G, Concours, Macs, etc.

Door locks on 59 & 60 Ford Sunliners are in the button of the door handle. No one stocks that lock.
I watched this Forum for awhile after posting it. 4 inquires an no suggestions. Therefore, I ordered
all 3 locks with matching keys from a lock guy on ebay for $130. I'm not looking forward removing the new
door trim. The previous owner paid $860 for 4 pcs. They are perfect.

I pulled my door button apart a few months back and worked the tumblers so the keys match up. Took a little while but it worked. My lock came from a donor door off an Edsel. FWIW... the door buttons are the same as pickup trucks of that year.

Today I removed the handles and the drivers door trim panel. I found the easy to reach screw and the access hole.
How do I reach the screw back in the corner by the button? Remember, the car is a Sunliner.
