Traction bars are for leaf spring cars not coil spring cars. They attach directly to the leaf springs. They eliminate axle wrap. They are used on 64 and back Galaxies. 65 to present are coil spring cars. Coil cars don't suffer from axle wrap due to the 3-link (65-78) or 4-link (79-present) set attaching the axle. The only malady a coil suspension might suffer under launch is coil squat which can be remedied with stiffer springs for less than $100.
