anyone try mount a Ford truck or any other Ford Power steering box on a 64 to get rid of the old ram hydraulic unit?

a lot of people use the borgson box for these older galaxies. then there is also the GM j-car rack and pinion option that several of us have done.

Looks like and old gm box with a bracket/plate welded to it??

not sure, I do know that it requires either manual drag link or a power steering eliminator. the eliminator IMHO is to much $$ and a manual drag link is is a rare thing for these cars. I know because I just sold the one I had
