Hi all, I bought a 63 Galaxie a couple of months ago. The snow in the north east is finally making an exit so I can take a good look at it. It has a 289 with 76k miles. I have done restoration work on and off for most of my 58 years, but upholstery work is my forte. I am planning a frame off resto/mod approach . I just ordered a ride tech suspension. I look forward to all of you who are involved in similar projects. I'll post pics when I am able.

Welcome. I'm curious to know about the history of that car and the low miles. How did you find it?

I bought the car from my brother in law. He bought the car in South Dakota about 7 years ago. It has the owners manual and some maintenance documents in the glove box. He drove the car for about two years. It delveloped a trans seal leak so he parked it (unfortunately outside). He sold his house so it had to go. I told him that I wanted it if he ever wanted to part with it. It will take some sheet metal work (small hole in front fender and others in the quarters), but the frame is solid, the car is straight, and appears to have original paint. It hasn't been started since 2009... stay tuned.

Wow!!! Time flies. It has been three years but I have finally started this project. Bagged and tagged; body off and crate 347 small block on order.
