    stock wheel size ?

    does anyone know for SURE what the stock wheel size is on a 1966 Gaxaxie 500 (352 ci auto 2 door hardtop).

    I don't want to dismount one to find out.

    are thery 15x6 or 15x5  ?

    Found out:   they are 15x5 except on S/W's and P/C's.

    Good evening everybody,

    I just joined the forum since I recently bought a '67 Galaxie convertible with a 390cui engine and drum brakes on all wheels. I live in Michigan and the car needs a lot of work before it can go back on the road. Right now, I collect information and look for spare parts.

    I am adding to this thread since have the same question "what is the stock wheel size" for my car?

    Wheel diameter = 15"?
    Bolt Pattern = 4.5"?
    Wheel width = ...?
    Center hole diameter = 2.45"?
    Back spacing = ...?

    I actually found four different wheels on my car (from two I believe they are Ford ones) after I took off the caps and would love to get the stock wheels back on it.

    So anybody that can help me to identifiy them?

    The spare tire looks the same than one of the mounted ones. Is this the correct wheel? The one that shows some kind of rivets on the inside of the rim?

    (wanted to add a pic but am not yet allowed since it is my first posting)

    On the wheel shown in the picture it says "Ford 7MC" and I learned through google that it stands for 1967 / Motor Wheel Corp. / March. So I believe this is an original tire.

    I had the tire taken off and measured:

    Wheel diameter = 15"
    Bolt Pattern = 5x4.5"
    Wheel width = 5"
    Center hole diameter = 2.45" (still struggle with this number)
    Back spacing = 3.75"

    I still hope someone can confirm.
