Re: Show Me Your Ride(s)

Haven't posted in a whiles, and don't think I ever posted a picture of my ride on this thread, but here it is.  Obviously it has a ways to go, but one rainy afternoon a buddy and I came up with this paint scheme just messing around with some spray paint.  Can't wait to get the body work finished this summer and get a real coat of paint on this thing!

Re: Show Me Your Ride(s)

Hey Daze just wanted to post an update on my red 65 convertible. Going to be putting a 5.9 Cummins in it with the 5 speed from the Dodge it came out of. Have had it in and out 4 times so far figuring out what needs to be modified to make it fit .don't see a way put my pictures up using my phone so I'll have to post those later on the regular computer

Re: Show Me Your Ride(s)

hey Daze just wanted to post an update on my red 65 convertible. I finally pulled the trigger and decided on the motor and tranny for the old girl .I'm putting a 5.9 cummins and 5 speed OD manual in her . I want to cruise this car cross country and pull iether a camper or a trailer with the motorcycles on it so this seemed the obvius choice to me and still be able to make plenty of power along with the mileage. plus being very unique. ive had it in and out 4 times so far and will probably have it in a hundred more times before it finaly lands there for good. i had the whole 3/4 ton truck to take parts from so I have the hydrulic brakes and pump all the clutch pieces to make it work .
I'll post more as we get deeper into this . I cant wait to have her on the road

Re: Show Me Your Ride(s)

Hello to all, recently signed up.  Plan to post some pics of  my 61 Sunliner.  Already swapped the wheels for 15x7/15x8 Magnums 215/65s front 235/60s rear.  Plan to do disc's all around with booster and a R&P PS set up.  Interior need little things.  Looking forward to participating in discussions and learning what I can.
