    1966 galaxie 500 rear letter emblem

    I have a 1966 galaxie 500 convertible that i am putting back together, the problem i am having is the L emblems on the rear 1/4 panels, it should read G A L A X I E but the L's  are  backwards  , i have ordered a replacement for my 66 but it also came as a BACKWORDS L ,Does anyone know what or why this is, please no smart butthole remarks, I do know an L from a backwards L

    well that is interesting.  Not sure why that would be but would love to see it got any pix??
