Removed the A/C, heater core housing for repair. Replaced the heater core, temperature control valve and foam on the doors. Had evaporator tested at a rad shop...the guy couldn't believe the size of that thing. Also replace the old firewall fiberglass insulation with sound deadening panels. Those worked great, a highly recommend using them. They are a 12"x 12" self adhesive panel and with some heat they mold really good to the firewall contours. Moving on, now for the dash cluster...

Looks good. What brand is the sound deadener?? Is it specifically for that or is it another product for something else?? I know a lot of guys use weather stripping like you get at Lows or Homedepot. it is 4" wide and had a foil back. It comes in roles and is easy to apply. From what I herere it is really easy to use and is a fantastic price.

I purchased that stuff at a local autobody supply store. It is a Pro-Form product. Part number is PF365-1, Single Sound Pad. I believe it comes in rolls also if you are working on a bigger surface. The pads cost me $6.62 each. I may end up using more of this as I go along like the floor boards. Like I was saying, get a heat gun on it and you can shape it fairly easily.
