Greetings and Happy Holidaze 2 all. I just join and have a quick question. I recently finished rebuilding my front end on my 64 500 XL. I installed the Offset Conversion Kit from Born Again Classics. I do not remember how many shims there were on either side of the upper control arm because it was a year ago that I took it apart. When I go to have the alignment done, I hope that they now how many belong on each. I have been told that I don't even them at this point because of the conversionn kit. Is this true? I did try to drive just a short distance but it was scary so I just parked it until I get the alignment. Thanks for your help and have a safe Holiday Season

The shims are required, thats how they set camber and caster. There is not a specific amount of shims needed per bolt. What the alignment shop does is add shims until the car is aligned with in spec.
