Re: 351c in 62 Galaxie

It was a hell of a fight, and the wagon won ther first 4 or 5 rounds
but today I won.
The Cleveland is in, bolted to the frame.
I used the "Foxbody"  mounts from a 93 mustang, 5.0.
I used the 2725 on the passanger side and the 26 on the driver, which is switched from normal
I put the passanger side in first, bolted to the engine, then lowered enough so the stud
hung down in the slot. the I bolted the stud in place on the driver side, then I lowered
the engine so everthing was sitting but not full weight. then I bolted the driver side
up and the stud, then the passanger side stud,  I am posting some pics to show what
it looks like.
Right now the numbers 2 header pipe is touching the frame, but I think when I lift
the tranny into place they will clear. I'm using Dynomax headers, same ones that
were on the engine when it was in my 77 Ranchero... they were inexpensive when I
bought them.
The studs are 9\16  and the bolts to block are 7\16 x 1"  grade 8
A note, I can not belive how high the cost of headers have become
I tried to upload pics, but as you can see they did not show...mmm
Best

Re: 351c in 62 Galaxie

glad you made it work.  I was dooing a little work on mine today and was looking at all the room I have all over.  I couldn't figure out how, if I had so much room, the foxbody mounts wouldn't work for you.  cant weight to see pix.
