I was looking at possibly purchasing a new front hub for my 1961 Fairlane 500. I looked in the parts book and it doesn't show a separate part number for the hub. It shows the front hub and brake drum assembly as part number C1AA 1102 A. For years I didn't even realize the drum was removable from the hub. I've just now come to realize that they do separate and that the front and rear drums are the same. I wonder if Ford sold replacement hubs back in the day or if you just had to purchase the hub and brake drum assembly?
