Does anyone know offhand if the 1963 Galaxie steering columns have the stiff spring directly behind the steering wheel? Anyone have an expanded diagram? If these cars have the spring, apparently, Ive lost both of them somehow.

hello Greg, i can't tell you if the 63 galaxie have one, but 64 t-bird has one directly behind the steering wheel. May it is the same?! my friend has a 64 t-bird and there was one mounted. i also saw it in the shop manual...
