I am helping out my aunt try to sell a 63.5 Galaxie since my uncle passed away last year but having no luck on CL at a price she was told by a friend at their local car club. She posted $20k but received zero interest.
The car is clean inside and outside, not a show car. 352 ci automatic chestnut brown with a white top. Any thoughts on value/pricing or what options to look for would be great. Im a mopar guy so dont know much about Ford's. I know the 390's and 427's are more desirable but not much else.
Any help appreciated

Sorry for your loss, but unless the rare individual that's looking for one like yours emerges, $20K is too high.
As much as I'd like to believe mine is worth more, the size of the market just is not that big.
Bluntly, 390s are quite plentiful and most 427s are likely rebuilt/restored or blown up.
Post some photos and more facts if you'd like more opinions. I'll show you mine if you show me yours; some relevant facts are in my sig. I have the original window sticker and loan papers in a frame my Dad assembled about 20 years ago. I even remember being disappointed when he took it off of the window as we drove it home from the Ford dealer, obviously he hung onto it. If I had to sell it, I'd be pleased to get what's listed here:
One more edit - 427 fastback listed at $25K last spring; not sure what engine it started with:

Not bad. It's a 500/XL correct? If so, update the Craigslist title and description. I punched in a zip code for Orange County New York and came up with this price range; (did not select A/C as an option): the prices range from a low of $6300 to nearly $24K. And based on your description, it could more original than mine.
Assuming the "warranty plate" (aka door tag) is still original and its VIN matches the other places it shows up on the car, you can validate more about its configuration when it left the factory:
(except that specific page does not list the late 63 fastback body style. Your 500 XL"fastback" will be denoted as a 63C (mine is a 63B)).
If it still has 14" wheels, here are some wheel covers that should match what was installed when it left the dealer's lot:
Anyway, if you really want the high end price, I suspect other marketing avenues besides Craigslist may be needed to find that rare bird looking for an original survivor with a family "pedigree"; but that's just an opinion; I'm not a big time Craigslist buyer or seller.
Keep at it!
