Be careful of the swap meet chrome guys, there is one that used the name of "Chrome" (pretty original) probably changed names again by now. They operate out of California but show up at car events all over the country. They take your cores and most likely you will never get them back.
My brother gave them a 58 ford bumper core at a swap meet in Vegas and over a year later nothing but excuses then silence.
On a whim I took my brothers receipt to the Hot August Nights swap meet with me and scouted out the crome vendors, I found one that I thought might be them and checked and they had a 58 bumper in stock. To be sure I waited untill a customer walked away and approached him and told him the story and asked if I could look at his reciept, the business name and letterhead matched my brothers reciept so I then approached the "Chrome" vendor and showed the receipt and said I was here to pick up the bumper. They gave me a bumper and that was that, I know it isn't my brothers actual bumper but we got something and most likely would have nothing without personally making contact.
You can Google "Chrome" bumper scams and will find many threads on many websites about them all over the country.
