Hello to all, I'm new to your forum and may as well start by asking a question. I'm looking at a 1970 convertible to possibly buy and am a little confused about the Galaxie vs XL. Am I right that there were actually no Galaxie 500 convertibles in 1970, only the XL's? What should this be worth in fairly good shape?

I should give you a little more info-it has the 351, interior if fairly good, the top has a few patches and it doesn't have the top lift pump or rams.

No idea about value, but according to this brochure, you're correct that the only convertible in this platform was the XL:
