Crankshaft Pulley

I will be installing a.c. on the FE engine of my 59 Galaxie.  It appears that the radiator will be removed prior to
removing the center bolt on the crankshaft pulley.  True or False ?

Re: Crankshaft Pulley

I would.  I know its a pain but I have learned the hard way that removing parts that are in the way is far quicker and easier in the long run than trying to get into tight spaces to remove something.  besides working with tools that close to the radiator is a fantastic way to mess up the fins.

Re: Crankshaft Pulley

I plan on driving to the Jack's Auto Ranch here in Wisc.  I'll remove a crankshaft bolt on a junk FE engine
the same vintage as mine.
