just bought 1959 Ford Galaxie V-8 352 ( I think) ,has fordomatic cast iron case. manual linkage was sloppy-loose
and when shift out of park went to reverse but then stayed in reverse until indicator was done to drive...then to
drive and low but lever way down .tightened up linkage and now when take out of park car goes forward not reverse as indicator shows and goes back when indicator is in L position ...lever on side of transmission is in back or low detent but transmission is in reverse ....would this be problem with valve body? any help appreciated, thks
