    Lower control arm mod??

    Anyone try that mod to remove the moving lower control arm bushing / mount
    And swap in a bolt and spacer etc??

    64 Galaxie Country Sedan Wagon
    69 XL Convertible "390" w/ Air

    My Galaxie is a 62 so I was not plagued with this "good idea" Ford tried on the 64 cars.  Every one I have ever talked to about the replacement parts was extremely happy with the results and wished they had done it long before they did because it was a vast improvement.  Not sure why Ford thought it was a "good idea" to begin with.

    It was done to my '63 before I bought it so I don't have before and after experience.
