Posting a few pictures for a simple motor mount modification. I used the factory 4.6 engine mounts for install of a 4.6 in a 61 Galaxie. Started out by shaving off the mounting tabs from the mounts used for the Crown Vic. Then welded a bolt to a flat place of metal and placed it on the mounting perches on the crossmember of the 61. Lowered the motor with mounts bolted on, into position onto the metal plates all ready in position, lined everything up and tack welded. I was surprised how well the motor mounts lined up with the factory perches on the crossmember.

so except for the bolt which you welded on that is the motor mount from a CV 4.6 motor?

Yes, that is the factory 4.6 Crown Vic mount. Mounting tabs were shaved off and plate and bolt added to make it work on the 61.
